In order to strengthen our global Contract and Claim Management Team at Burckhardt Compression AG we are looking for a self-motivated and highly committed:

Global Contract and Claim Manager 100% (f/m/d)

Within the guidelines set by the Legal Department your key responsibilities will be:

• Support sales and project management teams from the bidding stage until the project acceptance with guidance on terms & conditions specific to new construction and aftermarket projects
• Proactively support and manage individual claims from and against customers/suppliers from notification to settlement
• Support procurement and IT on complex contractual issues
• Support the collection process by chasing overdue accounts receivable
• Carry out employee trainings on contractual matters
• Monitor contract compliance with established procedures
• Work with other teams, such as finance, IT and project execution on contract requirements

In this role you would be working cross-functionally with all Burckhardt Compression subsidiaries with a direct reporting line to the General Counsel. Your profile:

• A master's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in a business-related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a contract manager creating, understanding, and editing written service agreements, construction agreements, procurement agreements or other pertinent agreements as required.
• Experience in the machinery or related industry is a plus.
• Use of independent judgment and creativity for resolution of contract and claim issues to safeguard company interests and a positive “can-do-will-do” attitude
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and readiness to travel
• Strong business mind-set and ability to handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
