We are looking for a Legal Counsel with a focus on trademark law to strengthen our global trademark department in Zug.

What you can expect:

• Perform and manage complex IP work in relation to handle opposition proceedings, trademark litigation and brand protection matters for defined countries
• Ensure management of formalities procedures, communication and coordinating with outside counsels and external law firms
• Operate, and ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement with HUGO BOSS trademark and/or trademark management system DiamsIQ,Serion and Origo and optimization for efficient use
• Monitoring and defence of the intellectual property rights of the Hugo Boss group, with particular focus on drafting warning letters as well as autonomous handling of trademark oppositions, nullity proceedings, litigations and infringement proceedings for defined countries
• Drafting contracts for any trademark cases

Your profile:

• Master's degree in Law with a specification in IP (Intellectual Property) or equivalent qualification
• General working knowledge of EU/IR trademark regulations and procedures
• Excellent team player, autonomous and able to lead project, analytical, pragmatic, problem solver
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Previous experience in the industry is preferred
• Strong understanding of intellectual property issues, mainly in the field of prosecution, litigation, brand protection and/or opposition procedures with a global scope
• Experience with IP Management software required
