For our headquarters in Kilchberg, Switzerland, we are seeking a highly motivated and engaged 

Intellectual Property Counsel.

The Intellectual Property Team is globally responsible for all Intellectual Property (“IP”) legal issues of the Lindt & Sprüngli Group. The tasks include the development and enforcement of the IP strategy as well as the management, clearance, acquisition, protection, licensing and defense of all types of IP assets such as Trademarks, Designs, Domain Names, Copyrights and Patents.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE SUPPORT OF THE IP TEAM IN ALL IP MATTERS, SUCH AS:

  • Provide advice to business and senior management in relation to all aspects of IP
  • Oversee selection, prosecution and maintenance of global IP assets including evaluation of clearance searches
  • General legal advice and legal risk management
  • Drafting, review and negotiating various IP agreements including license agreements, creative agency, R&D, actor and music agreements, collaboration agreements and assignments
  • Develop and roll-out standard/framework contracts and templates and other process optimizations
  • Review and approve artwork before launch of products to ascertain IP conformity
  • Conduct IP trainings
  • Outside counsel management
  • Handle strategic projects as assigned

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Strong academic records
  • 3-5 years of professional IP experience in a law firm and/or legal department of a larger enterprise
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Extensive knowledge of contract drafting
  • A curious, proactive, business-oriented and autonomous mindset with a strong ownership approach
  • Strong commitment to integrity
  • Excellent communicator, with a positive work attitude, able to form effective working relationships at all levels in a fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent command of English both spoken and written is essential, other languages is an advantage
